Outside of my daily design work, I am dedicated to caring for my family: my wife, and my two daughters, Shams, Sham, and Mohamed. Together, we enjoy exploring new activities, sharing stories, and creating memories.
From Petroleum Engineer to Creative Designer 🎨
Transitioning from a petroleum engineer to a designer has been a significant shift that brings a unique perspective to my design work. The engineering mindset involves systematic thinking, problem-solving, and precision, which differentiate me in the design field.
These skills allow me to approach design challenges methodically, considering each part's function and the whole system's efficiency. This analytical approach, combined with the creative thinking inherent in design, enables me to create solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional and user-friendly.
My engineering background has given me a solid foundation in understanding how things work, which is invaluable when creating designs that must exist in the real world.
Teaching Art & Design since 2013 🎤
I had established a studio where I was teaching typography and calligraphy. Since founding this Studio on Facebook in 2013, I have been on a mission to share the beauty of calligraphy with a wider audience, teaching the art form that blends traditional aesthetics with modern design principles.
This platform has allowed me to reach a diverse group of aspiring artists and designers, influencing their educational journey through interactive lessons, personalized feedback, and community engagement. Over the years, I have seen my students evolve, their successes reflecting the depth of our collective learning experience.
My approach to teaching art and design has always been hands-on, immersive, and rooted in the belief that everyone has a unique creative voice waiting to be discovered and honed.
